It also goes well with blue and oily fish typical of this time of the year such as bluefin tuna, salmon, sardines, mackerel, also in cold format (tartar, ceviche, tiradito, smoked, sushi) or grilled.

Giving way to red wines, with a great personality, and providing a multitude of sensations, Pago de Otazu 2020 stands out for its aromas of red fruits, black wild berries and currants, and a silky palate that leaves a long and persistent finish.

Served at a temperature between 16o C and 18o C, Pago de Otazu 2020 is the ideal accompaniment also in these months for options such as roasts, fish with garnish or prepared with lemon and orange and strong sauces, such as tuna with tomato. It also goes well with crustaceans (lobster), Iberian cured meats, rice dishes and traditional Spanish dishes.

Altar 2013, a wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with a very deep dark garnet red color, is another red wine that has an important presence during the summer months. The nose is complex and fine, offering aromas of wild berries, accompanied by subtle spicy notes of truffle, cedar and tobacco leaf. Elegant and silky on the palate, Altar 2013 is balanced and enveloping. It boasts great harmony and enjoys a long, lingering finish. After 18 months in French Allier oak barrels, in the barrel room known internationally as the "Cathedral of Wine" of the Navarre winery, and a long stay in its bottle rack, Altar 2013 is a round and refined wine that fits perfectly with meats, whether baked or grilled; in addition, it can also be part of a great aperitif table, think cured cheeses and dried fruits. Black rice dishes or Japanese cuisine are valid options that, due to their very different flavors, are a perfect accompaniment for a Cabernet Sauvignon such as Altar 2013. Finally, it harmonizes well with chocolate desserts with a high degree of cocoa in different textures.
