Hifas da Terra is a pioneering biotechnological company in Spain in the organic cultivation of mushrooms with medicinal properties that are used for the production of food supplements and medicinal products. It is an innovative project that, thanks to a hard work of research and innovation of R+D+i on the use of mycology, has a wide range of products for health care.
The company, which was founded in 1998 by Dr. Catalina Fernández de Ana Portela and currently has national and international scientific advisors, bases its pillars of action on working for health and the environment. To this end, it has the largest mycological collection in Europe -Hifas Foresta-, with more than 150 species collected, promoting the multifunctional use of these trees. It also has its own research laboratory within the group that promotes the development and use of natural resources.
